French daredevil Alain Robert has scaled Doha’s tallest building, The Torch Doha in less than three hours. Robert, nicknamed “Spiderman” scaled the 300m (984ft) building without the use of a safety rope or harness.
Well-known for climbing unassisted, the 50-year-old has conquered more then 85 giant structures, pioneering attempts of such kind, including the Empire State Building, Chicago’s Willis Tower and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. He has climbed numerous giant structures around the globe, most of which he has scaled using only with his bare hands and climbing shoes.
