Oakley 100th edition Tour De France range

If you watched the 2013 Tour De France and witnessed our very own Chris Froome ride to victory you’ll have seen many of the cyclists adorning their lycra outfits with the centenary range of Oakley sunglasses.

The Tour De France 100th edition sunglasses range features special edition versions of the Fuel Cell, RadorLock, RadarLock XL and the Half Jacket 2.0. All come etched with the Tour De France logo and in suitably inspired French colour schemes.

Both the RadarLock and Radarlock XL models come with two interchangeable lenses. One a G40 lens for low light and the other an Iridium lens for use in bright sunshine. Although the interchangeable lens on the RadorLock range is fiddly at first, once you have the knack it’s a doddle.

As you’d expect from Oakley, the quality across the range is superb. The Fuel Cell, intended for use off the bike look great, whilst the RadarLock and Half Jacket models are extremely comfortable to wear and lightweight. All models come with protective cases or carry bags fully decorated in appropriate 100th anniversary livery.

Prices aren’t cheap but with Oakley you are paying for premium quality and a product that will last. The Fuel Cell’s cost £90, the Half Jacket 2.0′s £100 and the RadarLock upwards of £160.
