Cycling gear from Aldi? Yes, you’ve heard it right and to be honest the range is pretty damn good!
Aldi states that the range covers waterproof reflective bands to keep you visible on the road, leg covers (£9.99) and overshoes (£6.99) for when the British summertime lets you down, to a unisex Merino Jersey (£19.99) to keep you dry as you work up a sweat on your daily ride, savvy shoppers can cut the cost of commuting with Aldi.
We’ve had a limited selection of products, from a multi-tool, through shorts to jerseys and all come in under £20. Through the range the quality is surprisingly good. Each product benefits from great attention to detail and in particular the clothing compares well to other manufacturers that cost much more. In fact, unless you are a self proclaimed cycling fashion aficionado, you can pretty much cover an entire seasons wardrobe requirements for the cost of one top label jersey.
For us the stand our products were the gloves and cycling jersey with rear pockets. The designs are understated yet stylish and you really can’t go wrong for the price. We’ve used them on many rides and the quality seems pretty good. Here’s a list of what’s available:
