Predator VX360 action camera.
Promise
Can a wearable, waterproof camera really face up to the action?
Performance
A wearable, waterproof camera that’s built specifically for the demands of sports like canoeing, the VX360 is a lightweight (78g) mounted camera that links to an arm-mounted base unit. The base unit stores up to 8GB of footage on SD cards and photos and has a 2.4” colour screen for instant reviews. Recently this was given the thumbs up by a team of kayakers who filmed their descent along the final uncharted tributary of the Amazon (read our feature here) , and they told WideWorld it performed brilliantly. Who are we to argue with that?
Verdict
There may be more budget options on the shelf, but if it’s real action you hope to shoot then you’re going to need something that combines the Predator’s toughness with shooting speed.
