Performance

Emergency foil blankets have been around for over 40 years. Also known as space blankets thanks to NASA's development in 1964, they have become a universal piece of kit for many hikers and emergency service personnel.

So why change your tatty foil blanket for this heat reflective jacket from Surviva? Well, for a start you no longer have to wrap yourself in an awkward sheet of Mylar as the wind threatens to tear it from your grasp. With unrestricted movement, courtesy of the Ergoflex seams and fasteners that allow a snug fit regardless of your size, your body temperature will rise more quickly while you navigate yourself back to safety or get started on a shelter.
