Performance
Here at WideWorld HQ, we love climbing. And whilst we love climbing with ropes, at the moment we're kind of obsessed with bouldering: just you, a good pair of climbing shoes, a chalk bag, and a rock face. It's climbing in its purest form. So we asked the lovely folks at Prana to let us test out one of their chalk sacks.
We headed to the rock gym for some bouldering action, strapped on the Prana chalk bag (via a very user-friendly thin piece of webbing that doesn't obstruct you or any of your other equipment if you do decide to use fixed ropes and which locks in place with a clip). The drawstring means you don't get clouds of chalk dust all over the place, and the fleece lining means your hands won't get irritated even after 100 dips. Prana makes good quality, durable climbing gear built to last, so we don't think we'll be replacing this chalk bag any time soon.
Verdict
Essential piece of kit from climbing kings Prana. Plus, this company gets plus points for its green credentials and it also has a very readable blog: http://www.prana.com/blog/ Don't think of scaling your next rock without one.
