Promise
Water-absorbing ear plugs which mop up trapped ear-water and help prevent ear discomfort.
Performance
They come in a set of 5, encased in a little plastic box, so you won't get them wet before they're needed. WideWorld went for an hour-long swim with these in to give them a proper road test. After you've finished with them you can cut them up and add them to the soil for your house plants to help them retain moisture (they're made from non-toxic material). Whether your plants will thank you for making their soil all ear waxy is another matter.
Verdict
Suprisingly, even though they absorb moisture, they don't feel even remotely uncomfortable. In fact, it isn't until you remove them that you realise they're all squidgy and wet. When they're in your ears they do the trick remarkably well - creating a seal and keeping water out of your ears.
