Wenger Swiss Raid Commando watch
Promise
Men's Swiss quartz timepiece, water resistant to 100m, stainless steel with internal bezel. Can measure speed over a known distance, plus it's got a great pedigree: this baby gets its name from an annual competition that pits military teams against each other in the Swiss Alps.
Performance
Whether you're scrambling up a rock face, surfing on the south coast or hiking through the forest, your watch is often the first thing to suffer after your legs. Scratches, dirt, knocks and bumps are not your timepiece's best friend.
But with its rugged black rubber strap, stainless steel, coated black face and orange markings (for nighttime visibility) the Swiss Raid Commando watch may be just the wrist accessory you've been looking for.
Verdict
WideWorld loves this watch. It's really hard-wearing, looks stylish (you could wear it just as easily on a date as running for 15 miles on the moors), and crucially it's still somewhat affordable (ie. not Rolex/Tag expensive).
