Product

EvoGrip 18 Yellow Swiss Army Knife.

Promise

This is one of the newest additions to the Swiss Army range. In 2005, Swiss Army manufacturer Wenger created the first ergonomic Swiss Army Knife; now it has added non-slip rubber, which it says increases its safety, performance and efficiency.

Performance

Often imitated, but rarely bettered, the Swiss Army knife is a classic - there's no doubt about it. You've probably got a cheap pen knife in the back of a drawer somewhere, branded with some company logo and given away free as a marketing tool (I've got several), but chances are, it's rusted up, or has seen much better days. Not so if you invested in a Swiss Army knife in the beginning. These really have become cult symbols of the outdoor adventurer - whether you like getting away for a weekend camping trip or you go further afield. This new addition to the Swiss Army stable has 11 implements that perform 15 functions, the high-vis yellow body helps you see it even in the bottom of a rucksack, and the new texturized rubber grip feature mean you can grip it even in wet environments.

Verdict

We love it. Time to upgrade your Swiss Army classic.
