Promise

Snap-shut, sturdy plastic boxes (with leashes) to keep your mobile phone, iPod, keys, jewellery, etc. dry and secure. These are designed for use primarily during damp, foggy and rainy weather. Made from tough polycarbonate, they're also crushproof (the promise is they'll withstand the weight of a 5,000 lb. truck), watertight and have an automatic purge valve. The impact-absorbing liner is designed to absorb shock if you bash them about. Plus they're available in various sizes and colours.

Performance

This is a sturdy bit of kit; incredibly durable - although we have to confess we didn't have a 5,000 lb truck handy to test the crushproof promise. But it passes the all-important waterproof test. It also comes with some sponge that you can re-size so that it'll stop whatever you're putting in your Pelican case from rolling around inside. These also come in various sizes - go for the big one and you'll be able to put your phone in there, as well as your keys and iPod!
