Last week, surfers off the coast of Ireland rode a 40-foot wave off the coast of Ireland.
The country's west coast has enhanced its reputation as a top surf destination with the latest news of these huge waves known as 'prowlers'. The monster surf is apparently about two miles off the shore, but their exact location remains a secret.
When sea and wind conditions are right, these giant waves can rise up to 15 metres in height.
The surfers tackling the waves last week were from Ireland, Britain and South Africa.
