5.11 RUSH72 Backpack
Promise
Durable backpack, great for the outdoors, made of water-resistant nylon, with flexible storage compartments, hydration pocket, fleece-lined eyewear pocket and built-in hip pads.
Performance
This rucksack is by the folks that make gear for the US military (we've reviewed their products before - including bulletproof sunglasses - and we love 'em). The first thing you notice is just how tough and hard-wearing it is. This is a serious bit of kit. It seems to have pouches, pockets and dividers everywhere - they really have thought of everything. It's designed as a '3-day pack' - so that you can pack enough stuff inside it to last, well, three days. Clothes, first aid kit, water, food - you should be able to get all your gear in here for a short trip into the wilderness.
The great thing about this is, if it's tough enough for the military, it has to be tough enough to withstand a punishing WideWorld expedition. So don't leave home without it.
Verdict
Love it. As always, 5.11 Tactical hits the mark.
