A handy little unit that allows you to automatically log your starting point at the press off a button. With up to 3 locations entered, simply hit return when your wandering is done and save on second guessing.

A simple arrow points you in the right direction as it counts the distance left to return, while an LED flashes to let you know you're within 30m of your original position.

Verdict

Cheap(ish), rechargeable with 140-minute battery life and easy to use. While this kind of GPS may have the hardcore shaking their heads, it has its place in everyday life. Finding your way back to the car, tent, hotel or even your partner's favourite shop will be hassle free.
