Product
Muvi Micro-DV camera.
Promise
At 5.5cm x 2cm x 2cm, it's the smallest camcorder in the world!
Performance
This is seriously titchy. Get it on some kind of lanyard immediately, or it'll be down a crack in a paving slab before you know it. When the shock about its tiny size subsides though, what do you really get out of this? Well, it's PC and Mac compatible, the rechargeable battery gives you 2-3 hours of recording time on to a 2GB SD card - though you can upgrade to a beefier 8GB if you wish. The picture ain't bad either: 640 x 480 at 30 frames per second, which is fine for larking about and catches enough action without blurring. Obviously if you're trying to snap at snowboarders performing somersaults over your head, you may want to upgrade - but this is really for the more relaxed set of punters.
Verdict
Awesomely cheap and useful - fits in any pocket and goes anywhere. Could be a tad tougher for taking on expeditions, but this is more of a day-cam.
