OverBoard Waterproof Camera Case
Promise
Dry camera gear comes as standard with OverBoard, the official suppliers to the RNLI – so what does this updated version offer that’s new?
Performance
OverBoard are synonymous with the dry-bag market these days. Nobody seems to come close in terms of presence, and there’s a simple reason: their products are great quality, reliable and hassle-free. Take this new version of their Waterproof Camera Case. It’s still made of thick PVC and a sturdy locking system that you can operate with numb fingers and gloves; but they’ve added a bit of thought to the design. With clear plastic on front and back, you can now review every shot you take on your camera, and the top has also been left clear to give you better access to controls. The plastic doesn’t seem to obscure the lense at all in our rigorous tests, and even touch-screen operations were fully enabled through the materials.
Verdict
Great for digital cameras, and also phones with integral cameras too. You’ll thank yourself for buying this – whether you’re shooting on a rainy pier or a wreck.
